Law Club 33rd MC Welcome Message

Dear students,

The elections for your next Law Club Management Committee have arrived! Please take note of the following dates:

Tea Session
What: The Law Club 32nd Management Committee will be putting themselves out there to answer any questions that you may have about Law Club. Have a burning question about what a certain role in the Law Club entails? Worried about how you can balance Law Club commitments with your studies? Want to find out what other perks we have in store for you in this position of power and privilege? Come down to the Tea Session where food and answers will be provided!
When: 23rd August, Thursday, 2pm
Where: SR 2-2

Nominations
What: Decided that you want to contribute to the school in tangible ways? Nominate yourself by printing out a form (Law Club nomination form/NUSSU representative nomination form), filling it up and dropping it off at mailbox 1937 (Block B level 5).
When: Nominations open 22nd August, Wednesday, and close 26th August, Sunday.
Where: Submit forms to mailbox 1937 (Block B level 5).

Voting
What: Vote for your peers who are brave and selfless enough to step up to fill the role of your next Law Club Management Committee!
When: Voting is open on 30th August, Thursday, from 10am-4pm.
Where: Block B entrance (lift landing right outside the Study Room).

So do seriously consider nominating yourselves for a position in the Law Club Management Committee! It will be an experience you will come to cherish! (:

Justice League (an inter-year tournament of various sports) finale was held on Friday, 30 March at the Upper Quad.

The Justice League finals (touch rugby and captain’s ball) were from 4.30-6pm.
It was followed by a Chill-out from 6-9pm,  where food and drinks were provided.

Categories available:
(1) Competitive (team up with lawyers from a law firm) – 4.8km: Runners stand to win prizes for being the overall fastest runner (top three) as well as the fastest team.
(2) Competitive (individual) – 4.8km: Runners stand to win prizes for being the overall fastest runner (top three).
(3) Leisure (individual) – 3.2km: Runners stand to have a fun, relaxed and fulfilling run.

This year, NUS Faculty of Law’s Open House was conducted on the 17th and 18th of March, from 2pm-6pm at NUS Bukit Timah Campus. This year’s open house showcased what NUS Law has to offer all prospective students in terms of academics, future prospects and vibrant student life.

3) The same lunch hours at the Dunearn as indicated on the NUSS website applies for the Set Lunch (i.e. 11:30am to 3pm).
